The Insertion & Entrepreneurship Pole of UH2C was established in 2019 with the aim of supporting students and young graduates by preparing them for their professional integration and introducing them to entrepreneurship. This pole represents a platform and an ecosystem that brings together various services and components aimed at developing students' skills and making them autonomous in their careers.

OBJECTIVES OF PI&E

The main objectives and services of the Insertion & Entrepreneurship Pole UH2C are:

  • Professional Orientation and Support
  • Professional Integration
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • Partnerships and Networking
  • Development of Transversal Skills

COMPONENTS OF PI&E

To achieve these listed objectives, we currently have 8 physical components located at the premises of the Insertion & Entrepreneurship Pole UH2C, situated at the Manfalouti Annex, Intersection of Bd Ghandi and Bd Abdelmoumen, namely :

This is an ERASMUS+ program aimed at raising awareness among young university students about the importance of entrepreneurship by offering them training of 4 to 6 months in various topics related to realizing their project ideas. This training provides close support to young individuals who have a project idea and need moral or financial support for the creation of their start-ups, as well as post-creation support to ensure the sustainability and survival of these start-ups. At the end of their training, beneficiaries are entitled to the National Status of Student Entrepreneur (SNEE), a certificate in accordance with Ministerial Circular N°01/01488 of December 20, 2018, from the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, as well as a certification of entrepreneurial skills that identifies the skills in entrepreneurship they have acquired throughout their training.

A result of a convention between Hassan II University of Casablanca and USAID, this center offers training to young university students in the context of professional insertion. Programs include CV writing and correction and cover letters in line with global standards and recruitment criteria, job interview simulation workshops to familiarize young people with the step that follows obtaining their degrees and prepare them for immersion into the job market. The Career Center UH2C also offers workshops and round tables around the development of their soft skills and transversal skills to better prepare their profiles and adjust them to the needs of the recruitment market.

This is a space created by the "University Agency of the Francophonie." (AUF) to enhance employability, professional integration, and entrepreneurship among students and young graduates. It is a project aligned with the AUF strategy for 2021 - 2025, aiming to improve the employability and entrepreneurship of young university students. The main services offered by the CEF revolve around four structured poles :

  • Employment advice, information, and tutoring
  • Complementary training in transversal skills (Soft skills)
  • Professional certifications
  • Pre-incubation for entrepreneurship

This initiative, launched in 2021, currently has several operational CEFs around the world, especially in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. These CEFs represent meeting points for various key actors, including the state, educational institutions, teachers, entrepreneurs, employers, and students, thus fostering a synergy to improve employability and encourage entrepreneurship.

This is a joint strategic initiative between the university and the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC) aimed at enhancing the employability of students and young graduates by offering personalized services to support them in the job market. This university agency provides various services, including information on job and internship opportunities, career guidance, and the organization of practical workshops. By integrating into the academic fabric, it acts as a bridge between university training and the professional world, thus promoting the successful integration of young people into an increasingly competitive job market.

This is a program that also stems from ERASMUS+ which lasted from 2018 to 2021 and offered services and training in entrepreneurship for young students with project ideas. These trainings were aimed at preparing them for connections with partner funders of the project who are ready to finance and adopt innovative ideas until they achieve their first profits, along with post-creation support extending over a year.

The Fabrication Laboratory is a project funded by ERASMUS+ that represents a motivational initiative for young people wishing to immerse themselves in the world of entrepreneurship and who need to create prototypes or product models to communicate around their innovative project ideas and attract investors' interest. It is equipped with a 3D printer, a 3D scanner, and a thermoformed available to young students or graduates of the university. The FABLAB also offers workshops on how to operate these machines, improve prototypes, and learn to program files ready for 3D printing.

In 2021, Hassan II University of Casablanca created an Intellectual Property and Patent unit within the Insertion & Entrepreneurship Pole UH2C to encourage creativity and an innovative spirit among its young students. This unit acts as an intermediary between the student and the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), handling the filing and payment of initial fees amounting to 3000 Dh, as well as the acceleration of invention patents for its young students.
