STUDENT INSURANCE


Hassan II University of Casablanca (UH2C) has partnered with Atlanta Sanad Assurance to offer its students a conventionally recognized "Higher Education" insurance, effectively meeting their coverage needs against accident risks. This insurance protects students against bodily injuries, material damages, and immaterial damages caused to third parties during their academic and extracurricular activities, during their trips from home to the institution, as well as during their internships in Morocco and abroad. It also includes compensation in the event of accidental death, total or partial permanent disability, as well as coverage of medical, pharmaceutical, surgical, and hospitalization expenses.

SCHOOL AND EXTRACURRICULAR CONTRACTUAL INDEMNITIES (per student)

In the event of death 150 000,00 MAD
Partial permanent disability 150 000,00 MAD
Medical, pharmaceutical, surgical, and hospitalization expenses 35000,00 MAD
Breakage of glasses (frames + lenses) 1 500,00 MAD
Dental prosthesis/orthodontics expenses 3 000,00 MAD
Transportation expenses to the nearest hospital 3 500,00 MAD
School recovery expenses (starting from the 21st day of absence) with a maximum of 15 days 100 MAD /Day
Rescue and search expenses organized by an official body such as the gendarmerie and sea rescue 1 000,00 MAD
Clinics contracted with a third-party payment system -

EXTENSIONS 

GUARANTEES LIMITS
Internships in Morocco and abroad, practical work, directed work, research and development work, cultural and sports activities, and extracurricular activities as well as all related and ancillary activities. Guaranteed
First aid and/or medical transportation for any person in case of discomfort or fainting following a defined accident within or around the establishment. Guaranteed
assistance in case of incident (ambulance, advance of deposit…) 7 days a week and 24 hours a day with a dedicated number. Guaranteed

*The student is free to provide proof of their choice provided that it covers the aforementioned limits.

PREMIUM AMOUNT :

The total premium per student is set at 50 DHS (all taxes included), including the premium related to catastrophic events. 

For any claims, please contact :

Procedures to be completed by the University or the student : 

  1. Report the incident to PREVAS by email within 48 hours, specifying the date and time of the occurrence, as well as the causes and circumstances.

  2. Provide the following documents upon receipt :

    • The original of the observation certificate describing the nature of the injuries; 
    • The originals of the medical and hospitalization expense receipts duly paid with the precise ICE number; 
    • The original of the medical prescription including the PPV and brochures; 
    • The original of the healing certificate with or without IPP rate; 
    • Copy of the student's ID. 
  3. For the reimbursement of incurred medical and pharmaceutical expenses, PREVAS sends the compensation receipt within 10 business days after completion of the file.

  4. Once the receipt is returned signed, PREVAS prepares the check within 8 business days.
