The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid implemented a new strategic focus in the promotion of Internationalisation at Home: the development of COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) projects to strengthen our faculty’s international collaborations and to offer intercultural learning experiences to our students.

Within this framework, several faculty members from this university have expressed their interest in finding international partners to jointly design COIL projects. To this end, they have published individual profiles on the institutional website including their academic background, fields of expertise, and collaboration proposals: https://www.uam.es/uam/internacionalizacion-en-casa/coil.

While the profiles are organized by faculty and discipline, included the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that each project addresses to encourage interdisciplinarity, inviting faculty to explore profiles beyond their own area of expertise. Each profile also contains the contact email of the interested faculty member to facilitate direct communication between colleagues with shared interests.
