The "GCD@UH2C" platform is the official application for managing the doctoral cycle at Hassan II University of Casablanca (UH2C). It serves as a centralized and digital tool for managing doctoral applications as well as for monitoring and overseeing the entire doctoral journey, from enrollment to thesis defense.

Structure and Main Features

The platform is organized around several functional modules designed to meet the specific needs of the various stakeholders involved:

1. "Application" Module

This module, operating according to an annual application calendar, allows prospective doctoral candidates to :

• Create a user account,
• Complete their application file, 
• Select one or more proposed thesis topics.

Research laboratories access the submitted files, evaluate them according to criteria established by the thesis charter, and invite candidates who meet the required conditions.

2. "Doctoral Candidates" Module

This module serves as a digital version of the doctoral record, called the electronic doctoral booklet. It allows doctoral candidates to :

• Activate their account upon first enrollment,
• Gradually integrate all information related to their academic and research journey.

At the start of each academic year, the doctoral candidate submits a re-enrollment request through this module. The request is automatically routed for validation by :

• The thesis supervisor, and
• The director of the hosting laboratory.

3. "Faculty/Researcher" Module

This module is dedicated to faculty members, providing functionalities tailored to their roles and responsibilities, including :

• Submission of thesis topics,
• Validation of submitted applications, and
• Approval of doctoral candidates’ re-enrollment requests.

All actions are conducted in accordance with UH2C’s thesis charter, ensuring rigorous and transparent management.

The GCD@UH2C platform is an integrated digital tool designed to optimize the management of the doctoral cycle while enhancing transparency, efficiency, and collaboration among all stakeholders involved in the doctoral process at Hassan II University of Casablanca.
