JOINT PhD THESIS


The joint PhD thesis is a doctoral program conducted jointly between Hassan II University of Casablanca and an international partner university. The PhD candidate is enrolled in both institutions and benefits from scientific supervision shared by two thesis supervisors, one from each institution.

This approach aims to strengthen international academic cooperation, encourage the mobility of PhD candidate, and enable them, upon defense, to obtain a dual doctoral degree recognized by both universities. The implementation of a joint supervision is based on a formal agreement, joint registration.

The implementation of a joint PhD is based on a formal agreement, joint enrollment, alternating research stays between the two institutions, and a defense organized at Hassan II University of Casablanca.

To date, more than 90 PhD candidates are engaged in this prestigious training program.
